I'm Tara aka the Flippant Flip.  I'm known for my sharp tongue and being FLIP (fine looking island person).   I'm not afraid to tell it how it is and love shocking people.  If you have a problem with bitching or cursing get over it! 

  I have a love of bacon, booze, trashy reality shows, shoes, fun colored makeup, reading, naps and T-Rexes.     As a UF grad, I am proud of the amount of orange and blue in my closet.  I am also a Sigma Kappa and will randomly throw up some hearts and doves with my sistas. 

I'm a 20 something new wife in a new city.  We moved from Tampa, FL to Richmond, VA and its a completely different world for us.  These are my adventures trying to become a domesticated, respectable, and sometimes sober member of society.  

The Hubby

He is my partner in life and in gluttony.   This guy has to deal with me on a daily basis, and has been described by many of my friends and family members as a "saint" (thanks guys). I swear I make up for it by keeping the fridge full of beer, the freezer stocked with Italian ice and randomly buying him funny t-shirts. 

His hobbies, besides zoning out my rants or avoiding my choice in TV shows include, being a foodie,  trying new craft beers, cheering on the Gators, singing in the car and wondering why the artist gets the lyrics wrong, and being all around awesome.   He has an art for getting random songs stuck in his head.   

The Bear

The Bear is our Miniature Schnauzer.  She's is a totally attention seeker and closet boozer. 

She spends her days looking out windows, going 'sploring, begging for food and just plain old looking cute.  Her favorite foods are Orijen dog food with coconut oil or emu oil, potato chips, seaweed, popcorn, and fried chicken  She's also our little vacuum cleaner!
